About Me
Welcome! I’m Deborah Szajngarten (Shinegarden), and I am an aspiring fiction writer based in New York’s Hudson Valley. I write short stories in the Fantasy, Dark Fantasy and Literary Fiction genres.
Most of the time, I bury my nose in my computer screen and work on my novel. Fireflower is the first book in The Wanderers Series (scheduled for completion in 2010). It is an epic fantasy series about the star-crossed love of two very different immortal characters that get separated from their childhood homes in Fifth Century North Wales. They take opposite adventures across the globe and 1,600 years, inadvertently weaving through one another's lives.
